The FarmStand
Our Farmstand is where we display and vend our delicious fruits and vegetables. It is open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sundays 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Our staff is friendly, knowledgable and generally all around good people.
A walk into the farmstand is a step into a simpler time. Not too long ago all produce was locally grown and taken to market. Shopping for fruits and vegetables was an experience very different than todays trip to a supermarket.
I read somewhere that the fastest growing segment of Costco's retail sales were in food items. At the expense of nutrition and choice we more and more shop for convenience or "savings."
However, if you are looking to support a local farmer whose commitment is to organically growing the best tasting varities of fruits and vegetables: Welcome!
Food has nothing to do with convenience or price. Food is nutrition for the heart and soul! You are what you eat is so simply said and we are making it easier to do!
